Group of Four Woven Silk Stevensgraphs

Excellent overall condition is found in this set of four Stevensgraphs. The coloration and detail of the woven silk is exceptional. Professionally framed with conservation glass Circa 1870. Titles: "The Meet", "Full Cry", "Good Old Days", The Struggle".
English inventor and weaver Thomas Stevens was among the most successful in adapting the jacquard loom to weaving silk. Based in the weaving center of Coventry... then ventured to London. He passed away in 1888.
