Charming Desk on Stand SOLD

A seldom seen small slant front desk on stand with good brown oak wood patina. Pigeon hole interior with drawer below. A drop pendant on the apron and supported by turned legs terminated by pad feet. Circa 1790.

Fine and rare Charles II period molded front chest of drawers. Excellent brown oak patina with dentil molding under the top and applied split moldings to front with paneled sides. The whole standing on blocked feet. England, Circa 1670.

Carved Pembroke Table   SOLD

Chippendale mahogany Pembroke Table with carved rosette and cabochon chain molding on the serpentine top. All supported by chamfered quadrangular legs terminated by blocked feet. Excellent deep brown patina. Provenance: Edward I. Farmer, Inc, NYC.
Baron & Baroness Carl Von Seidlitz estate, sold at Parke-Bernet Galleries in 1947.

Peter Hunt Painted Chest  SOLD

A remarkable mahogany Chest of Drawers accomplished by famed Peter Hunt of Provincetown, roke TableMassachusetts. In exceptional condition with marvelous decoration. The top depicts a scene of five maidens bearing gifts before a rider with a top hat.
Inscription "Les cinqs verges sages attendent"
The front and sides decorated in Peter Hunt's Floral and Heart motif.
Having a molded overhanging top with top drawer being fitted and all supported by a blocked foot base. Circa 1890

Cherrywood Candle Stand    SOLD

A diminutive country side/candle stand. Excellent medium brown cherrywood having a lower shelf and splayed legs. The inlaid central floral motif on the top is carried out on the lower shelf. Having a pull out drawer and unusual pull up slide. Circa 1860.
