A remarkable mahogany Chest of
Drawers accomplished by famed Peter Hunt of Provincetown,
roke TableMassachusetts. In exceptional condition with
marvelous decoration. The top depicts a scene of five
maidens bearing gifts before a rider with a top hat.
Inscription "Les cinqs verges sages attendent"
The front and sides decorated in Peter Hunt's Floral and
Heart motif.
Having a molded overhanging top with top drawer being fitted
and all supported by a blocked foot base. Circa 1890

A diminutive country side/candle
stand. Excellent medium brown cherrywood having a lower
shelf and splayed legs. The inlaid central floral motif on
the top is carried out on the lower shelf. Having a pull out
drawer and unusual pull up slide. Circa 1860.
